The name of Teigha File Converter might make you think it’s a universal file converter that supports pretty much any file format, but that’s not the case. This tool is actually only a CAD drawing converter that can convert among DXF and DWG files of different versions.

The most remarkable feature of this neat application is in my opinion the fact that it supports a large variety of versions for the output files, from R12 DWG to 2013 DWG, as well as various versions of both ASCII and binary DXF files.

Another important benefit of this small tool is the fact that it’s intuitive, straightforward, and simple to use. Even beginners can handle it without any problem. Input file filters can also be specified for increased processing speed. By specifying entire folders and configuring file filters, one can use this utility to batch process multiple files at the same time. A command-line interface is also available, suitable especially for the more advanced users. An option to perform an auditing and repairing task to the input files is also provided.

To sum it all up, though a simple and neat tool, Teigha File Converter can prove to be very handy in many situations that require converting among different versions of DXF and DWG files. Furthermore, this tool is completely free.
